^Proud Larry’s has not yet been reviewed on this site.  Whenever the venue was renovated  a year or so ago, there were issues with ADA compliance and accessibility due to what seemed like miscommunications and/or misunderstandings between the building inspector and bar owner.  Granted, I’m only getting this information third hand so I don’t want to delve into specifics or act like I know the skinny.  But if you take a visit to the bar you’ll notice that something went awry because it seems like the bar was asked to bring up to code the original bathrooms….bathrooms that were up a full flight of stairs.  So now I think Larry’s has been further asked by the city to make the “green room” bathrooms accessible in order to comply…I think these bathrooms are around the corner/down the alley a little ways.  As far as I know they’re still working on completing the renovation and would like to wait to review Larry’s until after they’re done.
